About the company
Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd. (PPFAS) is the parent of PPFAS Mutual Fund, a SEBI-registered asset management company that traces its roots to 1992, when the late Parag Parikh founded the firm as an equity broking and research house. The AMC itself was registered with SEBI in 2012, and the flagship Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund was launched in May 2013.
Today the firm is led by Neil Parikh, Chairman and CEO, who has steered PPFAS from a boutique, research-driven house into one of India's largest active fund managers - while keeping much of its original culture: candid investor communication, a strong value-investing philosophy, and heavy employee co-investment ("we eat our own cooking") across its schemes.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions on Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd. (PPFAS)—tap a row to read the answer.
Q.1When I buy PPFAS shares, what am I actually getting?
Honestly, a lot of people skip this question and just dive in - and then get confused later. So let's get it straight first.
When you buy PPFAS shares, you're becoming a part-owner of Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd. - the company behind PPFAS Mutual Fund. Not a unit-holder in the Flexi Cap Fund. Not an investor in any of their other schemes. Those are things anyone can walk into tomorrow through the fund house's website or any regular broker - no special access needed, no unlisted-market route required.
Q.2How much money do I actually need to get started with PPFAS shares?
In recent years, the unlisted share market has expanded significantly, leading to a reduction in the minimum investment amount. Previously, the typical investment ticket size ranged from 5-10 Lakhs, but in the current market scenario, it has decreased to between 35-50k. Therefore, through our UnlistedZone platform, if someone wishes to invest in Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd. (PPFAS), the minimum investment required would now be in the range of 35-50k.
Q.3How do I actually confirm the shares have landed in my demat account?
There are two easy ways to check.
Way 1: Every demat account belongs to either NSDL or CDSL - these are just the two big record-keepers in India that track everyone's shares. Download whichever app matches yours from the Play Store, log in, and look for PPFAS in the list. Not sure which one you have? Look at your demat account number. If it's all numbers, you're with CDSL. If it starts with the letters "IN," you're with NSDL.
Way 2: Probably the simpler one: Just open the same app you normally use to check your other investments (your broker's app, like Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, or whichever one you use). PPFAS should show up there too once it's credited.
One small thing to remember: it usually takes about 1-2 working days for the shares to actually appear after we send them, even though the transfer is already done on our side. So if you check the same day and don't see anything yet - don't worry, that's completely normal. Just check again the next day.
